We have had some glorious summer weather, and I must admit, the family and I are ready for it! We've been into exploring National Parks lately and that's usually where you can find us these days. The kids are into the free Junior Ranger program, where you can earn badges at certain National Parks by completing activities. The best part is it's completely FREE! I can't recommend the program enough! We love our National Parks and showing our little ones areas that have been preserved for generations before us and will continue to be preserved for generations after as well, is a real treat.

It's important for us to show our kids that you have to preserve our environment and take care of it. Because if we don't, who will? I'm therefore always searching for ways to clean up our lifestyle and make it more environmentally friendly. One way to do that is by protecting the very trees that we love so much and choosing products made with more sustainable materials, like bamboo. I've done some research on different products made from bamboo but am always on the hunt for really good companies utilizing this sustainable material. I heard about the company Reel Paper from Tryazon and excitedly signed up to be a party host for one of their Reel Tree-Free Paper Parties.

Per their company information, "Reel is committed to reducing the deforestation and plastic pollution caused by consumable paper products. The brand launched in 2019 with a high-quality toilet paper made from 100% bamboo that puts a premium on comfort and quality. Our three-ply paper is soft yet strong, BPA-free, and dye/ink free. Plus, all Reel products are made with plastic-free packaging that is 100% compostable or recyclable."

When I got chosen to host a party, two big boxes showed up at my doorstep and I was super excited to see the classy and designer packaging the toilet paper was wrapped in! It's such a nice touch to the bathroom to have extra rolls of toilet paper for guests that are wrapped and look so fancy. Not that this is a necessity, but hey, it's a nice touch.

I hosted my part on a Friday afternoon. I invited friends, neighbors, and family and held an open house party, where guests could drop by anytime they liked from 3-5. This worked out perfectly, because we had 21 guests stop by, but not all at once, which was perfect for keeping the party big but not all at one time. I had my laptop set up in our foyer with the websites for Tryazon and Reel up so that guests could see. I told my guests all about each company and then had a pyramid of Reel Toilet Paper set up in the living room for them to check out. I let each guest take a roll home to try. A lot of my friends had no idea that toilet paper from trees was such a large issue, but when I educated them on deforestation and the issues regular toilet paper caused, they were stunned to know this. Many guests were thankful for the 40% off coupon that Reel provided for them to purchase. A lot of guests were excited to see on their website that they could also purchase the toilet paper at Target, as we all shop there often! Overall, my guests had a great time checking out the quality of the toilet paper and learning about why bamboo makes a more sustainable choice for paper products.

The best part is that Reel gave me a coupon code to share with YOU too! If you use the code REELTRYAZON at checkout on their website (https://reelpaper.com) you can get 40% off your order! How's that for a deal?!
