Our New Year has been busy and full! The year always starts off with Jesse's birthday on New Year's Day. It always makes me feel really grateful for the coming year and all the blessings I have in my life. Especially him :)
I know a lot of people make New Year's resolutions, but I personally have never been into them. I guess I don't see the point of making a commitment to spend all year being healthy or making other promises when I would much rather strive to make those commitments and promises all year long. Instead, I try to have good intentions and habits every day and if I happen to fall along the way, I just pick up where I left off the next day and start again. That, to me, is the key to healthy living. I like to always be in the loop on healthy habits, products, and ideas and then incorporate them into my own life. So when Tryazon chose me to host a modern tea party to promote healthy conscious living with the company Organic India, I was more than on board!
I was sent a super awesome host package with tons of swag and free products to pass out. I felt like this was one of the best host packages I have received from Tryazon yet! Organic India was very generous, which I loved, because I was able to give my guests lots of free stuff to take home! Check out what they sent!

I got four boxes of tea to try in two flavors; Tulsi Ashwaghanda and Tulsi Sweet Rose. I got four bottles of turmeric capsules, decals, two HUGE packets of coupons, intention cards, a journal, a stainless steel travel mug, 10 green Organic India reusable bags, bookmarks, a makeup bag, and a really cool reusable tote that velcros. I couldn't believe the generosity of this company!
As I read and learned more about Organic India, I came to really love what they stand for and do. Here is an excerpt from my host packet about what the company stands for:
"In the 1990s the ORGANIC INDIA founders met and fell in love while on personal spiritual journeys in India. Together they witnessed wide-spread environmental and cultural devastation caused by Western agribusiness products and practices imposed on rural farm communities built on centuries of traditional farming methods and wisdom. At the same time, they became immersed in ancient Ayurvedic science and health practices, learning of the great intelligence of medicinal herbs from that tradition, in particular the broad health benefits of Holy Basil, also known as Tulsi. Working with Ayurvedic masters and Western-trained physicians, they learned of herbs and formulas that would support body, mind, and spirit in navigating the stresses of modern life. They shared a deep wish to bring these health-supporting herbs to the world by partnering with farmers to recover traditional agricultural wisdom and establish a new business model based on responsible economic, social, and environmental principles and fair trade-based farmer partnerships."
I thought that the mission of this company was awesome. I was impressed that they utilize ancient wisdom and herbs in their teas to create healthy products with many benefits. I tested out the teas I was sent and was super impressed with the taste. I already loved herbal teas, so being able to add these to my rotation with all the healthy benefits they have, was a real dream to me!

My next step was to host a party to share all the knowledge and amazing products from Organic India with my friends and family. I sent out invitations for a No Tech Tea Party, where everyone invited was to leave their phones in a basket at the door, and instead, enjoy each other's company without technology present. I had a big turnout and many guests loved the idea of being able to connect with each other without technology present. I had all my Organic India products on my dining room table and offered an appetizer bar on my kitchen island so that guests could mingle, eat, and enjoy tea. I set out mugs and had two hot kettles going, so that people could choose a tea to taste. Everyone raved about both types of teas. I then raffled off all the extra items to guests, drawing one person's name every 10 minutes. There were so many extra items in the package, that everyone got to go home with something, plus coupons. About 30 minutes into the party, I had guests fill out the enclosed intention cards and then we went around and shared ours. Most everyone put "less stress" as one of their intentions. I think they are going to be more than able to have less stress after using these teas!

By the end of the party, everyone was already googling where to buy Organic India products. Most attendees said they were going to purchase the Tulsi Sweet Rose tea. I'm glad I was able to gather with family and friends in a calming environment, while also enjoying the benefits of Organic India teas!
