Niagara Chocolates Sampling Party

This brisk fall weather has me feeling all the autumn feels! I love stopping by Starbucks and grabbing a pumpkin latte after dropping the kids off at school and smelling all the fall scents in the air whenever I go shopping. I always stock up on cans of pumpkin and make every pumpkin recipe under the sun. So far it's been pumpkin muffins, scones, bread, cinnamon rolls, and even cake! I really just can't get enough of this season. It's a constant reminder that even when things are dying, there is still lots of beauty and life left.

Tryazon contacted me and let me know that I was chosen to host a Niagara Chocolates Sampling Party this month and I was really excited to mix up my pumpkin obsession with chocolate! I had never heard of Niagara Chocolates before, and so I started doing some research to find out more about the company and the products I'd be sharing.

It turns out that Niagara Chocolates really spoke to me as a brand. They are hand crafted chocolates that use simple ingredients and no yucky things. It's a company based out of Buffalo, New York that has been around since 1956. Their small batch chocolates are crafted with care and made to be enjoyed. They make chocolate bars and clusters, which are huge chunks of chocolate and nuts. Their ingredients are non-GMO certified and of the highest quality.

As if the company itself didn't excite me enough, the box full of chocolates that showed up at my door sure did!

I received 18 bags of chocolate in 6 different flavors, 20 chocolate bars in 5 different flavors, and a whole stack of coupons for my party guests! I couldn't believe the generosity of the company in sending such a loaded sample box. This would really give my guests a chance to try lots of different offerings the company has.

I planned my party for a Friday night from 4-6. I decided to have an open door party where guests could come in and out anytime between those times to try out the chocolate and take some samples and coupons home. I had 23 guests total come by. Each family got to sample all the flavors, as I set out the open bags and bars on our kitchen island. No one had heard of Niagara Chocolates before and all of them were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the chocolate was. Every 20 minutes I raffled off a bar or bag of chocolate for someone to take home. At the end of the party, I had a few chocolate bars and bags left and decided to drop coupons and samples off to neighbors who couldn't make the party. We dropped off an additional 8 samples and coupons, so altogether we shared these with 31 guests. It was really fun to be able to share with so many people, since we received so many samples. I know many of my guests will be purchasing these soon!

Most of the kids really enjoyed the caramel cups and the peanut butter bars. A lot of adults commented that they really loved the clusters. I personally enjoyed the clusters the most as well. A lot of times, with other companies, you don't get enough of the nuts in a nut cluster. Niagara Chocolates really fills their clusters with TONS of nuts. I love that it is more nut heavy because it makes for a delicious snack that is wholesome and filling.

Another really awesome thing about Niagara Chocolates is that their chocolate bars are so thick and long! You are getting such a great deal on these, as the bars can really be shared because they are so large. The almond toffee bar was beyond my favorite, as the toffee bits were crunchy and chewy at the same time.

I am so excited to have found a new chocolate brand that I really love and feel good about eating!
