Now that we are staying home all the time, my cooking skills have increased dramatically. I'm cooking more than ever before. I love to cook and bake, but sometimes I also like to take it easy and make something quick, yet delicious. Tryazon sent me some really great products from Taste Republic and Cucina Antica; two companies that make fresh and delicious Italian staples. I was super thrilled to give these a taste test because both companies make their Italian products so easy to cook with.

First up was the linguini pasta from Taste Republic. This pasta can be found in the refrigerated section of your grocery store, as it is a fresh pasta. I really love this because it only takes 3 minutes to boil, since it's fresh! As I opened the package to use it, you could feel the velvety softness of the pasta. I simply plopped it in my boiling water, waited three minutes, and then drained it in a colander. I plated it quickly and then it was time for the Cucina Antica marinara. I simply popped the top, added a cup to my hot saucepan, let it warm for a minute or so, and then poured it on top of my fresh pasta. All together, this meal took 5 minutes to make! I always have fresh basil growing, so I added some basil leaves on top with some chunks of fresh milk mozzarella.

It was so nice to have such a fresh and delicious meal ready in minutes! No slaving away in the kitchen for me! The pasta from Taste Republic is also gluten free, which means it's even secretly healthy for my family. They didn't even notice the difference, it was so good! I think it made the pasta settle much more lightly in my tummy rather than if I was to use regular wheat pasta. Perfect for a warm day!

The marinara sauce was hands down the best marinara I've ever tasted. My family hates chunks of stuff in their pasta sauce, so we always buy marinara to avoid this. Hence, we've tried all types and brands of marinara out there. This was our first experience with Cucina Antica's version, and we have now fully converted to this sauce! I love that it is made without onions and garlic, as my kids aren't garlic fans and my husband isn't an onion fan. This makes the marinara so much lighter and easier on the palate, while still being chock full of tomato goodness. I absolutely loved the flavor of this marinara and how easily it paired with the pasta. Hands down my family's new favorite meal!

Not one of us was unhappy with the food, and I was definitely loving that this meal was so quick and easy. I'm heading out to my local Mom's Organic market tomorrow to pick up some more of this tasty pasta! I'll be hitting up Amazon to purchase the Cucina Antica marinara. Either way, you've got to try these two new yummy products!
