I can't believe Thanksgiving has come and gone! Every year it seems like it creeps up so fast and then, just like that, it's gone. I host every year and sometimes it can be stressful. I love being able to have the family together, but it definitely is a mental workout getting everything prepared! This year went the smoothest it's ever gone; even with my youngest catching a cold at the beginning of the week. I was definitely disinfecting everything she touched nonstop for three days before Thanksgiving to make sure I wasn't sick before I had to cook and host. Luckily, she kept her germs to herself and Thanksgiving went great!
I'm always so thankful for so many things. Not just on Thanksgiving, but every day. I've been trying to have a more positive mindset this year and I've been a lot more mindful of the many blessings I have in my life. I'm so grateful to have a healthy, safe, and happy family. Those are really the only three things I need.
When it comes to being healthy, my kids will often roll their eyes at the healthy things I bake or try to get them to eat. I enjoy baking SO much but I really like to bake healthy recipes without lots of sugar or other yucky ingredients. My kids are pretty good about liking my recipes but sometimes I wish there were more healthy options readily available in the store so that I don't have to bake if I'm not feeling it that day.
I came across the company Homefree and I was really intrigued by their philosophy and way of making goodies. They produce healthy cookies that are allergen friendly and made with wholesome ingredients. The cookies are mini sized and perfect for snacking. I always hate buying cookies that are so big for the kids because I don't think they really need such a sugar rush. Homefree makes their cookies in a mini size so that 2-3 little cookies feels like a lot to the kids, but it's really not!

I was chosen by the party company Tryazon to try out some yummy cookies by Homefree. Homefree sent me three of their cookie varieties to try out and share with friends and family at my party. The package included their chocolate chip, lemon, and vanilla cookies. Lemon is one of my favorite flavors so I was really excited to try those out!

Since I didn't receive my party package until the middle of the week of Thanksgiving, I decided to host my party on Thanksgiving. It worked out perfectly, because we celebrate with family and then have a Friendsgiving with friends the next day. On my Thanksgiving party I shared the cookies with 17 family members and neighbors. On my Friendsgiving party I shared the cookies with an additional 8 friends. None of my friends or family had heard of Homefree. I have a friend whose family eats allergen free because of a peanut allergy. They were so excited to find a brand that met their needs and tasted great! I started out each of my parties by explaining about Homefree and their company. I then told them about Tryazon. I handed out the Homefree pamphlets and coupons and opened the packages on platters for everyone to try. All the guests raved that they loved the taste and crunch of these cookies!

Most people enjoyed the chocolate chip cookies the most. I personally loved the lemon cookies. It was especially awesome that the lemon cookies came in a to-go bag that would be great to pack for school lunches. It's an added bonus that they are allergen friendly for kids at school.
Overall, the party was great and everyone was really excited to try a new healthy cookie brand. You'll have to check out your local Wegmans or Martins to find them near you!
