Doodle Tees Party

School started this week and I know the kids are ready to get back to a normal (or as normal as you can get) school routine. After being home for the past year and a half, my oldest was so ready to see her friends in person. Although lots of anxiety will still remain, I'm glad they are at least back in the classroom. Now, if they can just stay safe and healthy!

Since this school year was such a big deal, we decided to celebrate by having friends and neighbors over to enjoy some really cool products I received through the party company Tryazon. I was chosen to host a Doodle Tees Party and I couldn't wait to show off these awesome products!

Doodle Tees sent me a pack of 10 white tee shirts with really cute and inspirational sayings on them. There were also 5 packs of Crayola fabric markers in the package too. I got a variety of sizes for all ages of kids in our neighborhood. I really thought the quality of these shirts was exceptional and the fabric markers worked really well on them!

I hosted my party on a Friday right after school ended. It was the end of the first week of school and the kids were excited to have a fun way to celebrate together. I set up tee shirts in our large living room and invited 21 of our neighbors and friends to drop by anytime from 4-6 to color a tee shirt and take it home. We had 12 friends stop by and we dropped off shirts to 3 other families who couldn't make it.

I printed out an informational card for everyone to take home that had information about Tryazon and Doodle Tees on it. I had snacks for the kids to enjoy while they colored. The kids raved that it was easy and fun to color the tee shirts and the adults raved about the positive messages printed on the shirts. Every kid who came got to color and take a tee shirt home (7 kids in all). Many parents were excited to learn about this brand and were planning to buy more for siblings and family members.

The kids were really engaged with coloring and a lot of the adults liked the idea that they could color something and wear it proudly the next day. Many of the kids were planning to wear their shirts together on the next day of school!

After coloring, we let the tee shirts go in the dryer for 30 minutes to set the ink. I washed them after and they came out as bright and new as when they were first colored! I was amazed at the quality!

The best part is that these tee shirts come in adult sizes too, so you can make family tee shirts! I loved that the kids were really engaged with this and proud of their hard work.

This was one of our most fun party experiences yet and one that the neighbors and our friends will be talking about for awhile!
