We are halfway through November! I can't believe how fast the end of the year goes. The weeks go by quickly and the days are shorter. As you already have heard in my previous post, my Christmas shopping is done. And now half of those presents are wrapped. I could pat myself on the back for being so efficient this year. But I know that it's only a result of my crazy self needing to have everything marked off my to do list. I guess that's one way to release all my anxious energy.
Even though all my supposed Christmas shopping is done, I still love the shopping vibes of the holiday season. I love all the deals and sales that roll out, and anytime I see something worth getting (and saving for coming birthdays or celebrations) I jump on it! And let me tell you...if you have a baby, toddler, or little one that still needs a stocking stuffer or gift, I have the BEST toy company to tell you about!
Have you heard of Tikiri Toys?? Yeah, I hadn't either! I was introduced to them through the party company Tryazon when I was picked as a party host to showcase their toys. I immediately started researching the company to get some background on them, and I was really pleased and excited about what I learned. They make the most adorable and sweet toys and dolls that are made with natural materials that are ethically made. I am ALL about products that are environmentally friendly and safe. As you all well know, I am often on the hunt for these types of products as I try to live a healthier and chemical free lifestyle, especially when it comes to my kids. Tikiri Toys is a family company that embodies the spirit of love for people and nature. Per their website:
"Tikiri — which means “teeny tiny” in our native language of Sinhala — is based in Sri Lanka, a beautiful tropical island in the Indian Ocean with a heritage that goes back over 3,000 years. Our ancient views of nature’s oneness are manifested into everything we make."
It's a beautiful concept and a loving philosophy from this company! The company even goes on to say that they wanted to create toys that gave parents an alternative to plastic toys and that they treat their workers like family. Overall, we need more companies like this!
Check out the adorable toys I was sent from Tikiri...

The attention to detail and the softness of the materials is outstanding! The head of the elephant and the teethers are made with the most velvety natural rubber that any baby would love to chew on! I couldn't stop rubbing the natural rubber myself...it's so soft! These would be perfect to put into a crib or to take in the car because you don't have to worry about any hard pieces on these toys. The dolls from their Bonikka line are just adorable and crafted to perfection. I just couldn't wait to inform friends and family about this awesome company!
I hosted my Tikiri Toys party on a Monday. During the day, I brought the toys along to a mom's and dad's play group that I went to. There were a good amount of parents and kids there to check out the toys. In the group were pregnant moms and parents with kids ranging from babies to 8 year olds. The pregnant moms were super excited to see these toys and many bookmarked the Tikiri Toys website to check out when they got home.

Later that evening, I hosted a party for my neighbors and friends to come over and check out the toys. I have some neighbors who are grandparents and they just loved the idea of this company! Many were interested in buying these as gifts for grandkids. I hosted my party in the evening from 5-7 and allowed people to breeze through. At both my daytime party and my evening party, I told the guests about Tikiri Toys and Tryazon, utilizing video clips about each company. I then had guests interact with each toy and shared information about the different toy lines Tikiri offers. I made sure they knew all the cool points about Tikiri Toys, like how their toys are ethically made with natural materials. Everyone had no idea about this company and instantly fell in love with the toys. Especially since so many had baby showers coming up to attend!

The parties were a hit and everyone was super excited about this company! I can't wait to buy some more of these toys as gifts for my pregnant friends who are having showers coming up!
